Becoming a member of Snohomish County Firefighters Pipes & Drums can be extremely rewarding, demanding, and honorable. Your decision to be part of this organization should not be taken lightly. You must ask yourself if you can afford to commit the necessary time and money to succeed.

Our band practices every Friday from 09:00-12:00 at NorthView Community Church.

If you are interested in joining, it is highly encouraged that you stop by and learn more about SCFFPD to understand if the band is a proper fit for you.
Practice Q: When can I start?

A: We start new beginners once a year in the fall. If you have previous experience on the bagpipes or drums we make exceptions. Individual lessons are also available with our instructors.

Q: How long does it take to be able to play pipes/drums?

A: This is entirely up to you. If you practice 4-5 times per week and attend Friday lessons regularly, you may be able to play as early as 12-18 months.
Note: Most take 24-36 months.

Q: Who should I contact to join the band?

A: Email scffpd@snocopipes.com.
